-The Origin of Jiaotu- In mythological legends, among the nine sons of the dragon, one of them is called Jiaotu. Jiaotu has a reserved nature and strongly hates others' entrance into its nest. Ancient texts record it as follows: Ming Dynasty, Lu Rong, "Records from the Vege Garden," Volume Two: "Jiaotu, resembling a spiral shell, has a fondness for sealing its entrance, which is why it stands above doorways."
